The title sounds very glamorous, but in truth is a dirty/bare bones ride. Dont expect to get some killer asphalt on this ride, shit is old school. The scenery is epic though, rolling through some of the historic mining towns of Arizona you can just feel the blood sweat and tears that went into most of these places. I would do this run in the Spring or Fall. Stay away in the Summer, it gets deathly hot.

Left Tempe at dawn this morning and made the ride to Globe. Ate at a place called Judy's good stuff. Between my modded '05 Bonnie and my buddy's garage built '79 Shovel there was a lot of chrome junkie turning head turning.
